Description:
Mitterspitzen is 2607 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 8 km north-northwest from the center of Weißpriach and 9 km northeast from the center of Tweng. The nearest mountain hut is Granglerhütte, located 4km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Samerhütterl, which is located 2km to the east-southeast. The peak is located south of the valley Obertal.
