Description:
Monte Contesa is 1518 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 2 km north-northwest from the center of Monteaperta / Viškorša and 3 km southeast from the center of Musi / Mužac. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Pian dei Ciclamini, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Bivacco Dino Brollo. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Krnica.
