Breški Jalovec, or Punta di Montemaggiore in Italian, is a 1613-meter-high mountain located above the source of the Nadiža River, specifically on the Italian side of the longest ridge in the Julian Alps. From the summit, which has a summit logbook, a beautiful view opens up to the Adriatic Sea, the foothills of the Julian Alps, the western and central Julian Alps, and on clear days as far as the Dolomites.
