The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of Logje and 4 km northeast from the center of Montefosca / Čàrni Vàrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Matajure, located 4km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Ricovero Casera Monte Mia, which is located 1.3km to the west. The peak is located south of the valley Krnica.
