Monte Pala Sud is 1221 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak is located 1.7 km east-southeast from the center of Pradis di Sopra and 1.9 km north-northeast from the center of Clauzetto and 5 km southeast of peak Monte Taiet and west above the mountain pasture Malga Cecon. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Valinis, located 9km west. A bit closer is bivouac Casera di Sinich Bassa, which is located 4km to the southwest. North of the summit is the valley Canale Di San Francesco.
