The nearest mountain hut is Flaggerschartenhütte - Rifugio Forcella Vallaga, located 3km northwest. A little further is Kaserhütte. 6 km west of the peak there is lake Durnholzer See - Lago di Valdurna. Southwest of the summit is the valley Großalmtal.
