Description:
Mühlkogel is 788 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.6 km west from the center of Gschwandt and 1.8 km west-southwest from the center of Bad Goisern. The nearest mountain hut is Rodelhütte, located 1.6km south. Even closer is bivouac Maiswaldwarte, which is located 1.2km to the northeast. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Rettenbachtal.
