Description:
Oberstkogel is 2767 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km southwest from the center of Praxmar and 8 km south from the center of Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain. The nearest mountain hut is Längentaleralm, located 3km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Felsvorsprung. 4 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Gleirscher Ferner, 5 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Grüne Tatzen Ferner.
