Description:
Sattelschröfen is 2890 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km west-southwest from the center of Praxmar and 7 km south from the center of Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain. The nearest mountain hut is Pforzheimer Hütte, located 2km northwest. A little further is bivouac Waldteufels Notunterstand. 3 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Gleirscher Ferner, 6 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Grüne Tatzen Ferner.
