Breite Scharte

Description:
Breite Scharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2750 meters in the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located 2 km southeast of peak Gleirscher Roßkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Pforzheimer Hütte, located 1.6km north-northeast. bivouac Vorraum Tourismusbüro (täglich geöffnet) is also relatively close. 3 km south from the saddle there is glacier Gleirscher Ferner, 5 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Grasstallferner. The saddle is located above the valley Gleirschtal.
