Description:
Gleirscher Roßkogel is 2994 meter high peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 7 km west from the center of Praxmar and 7 km southwest from the center of Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain. The nearest mountain hut is Pforzheimer Hütte, located 1.9km east. A little further is bivouac Vorraum Tourismusbüro (täglich geöffnet). 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Gleirscher Ferner, 6 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Grasstallferner.
