Östlicher Rosshuf is 3165 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Kleine-Philipp-Reuter-Hütte, located 3km south. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 0.7 km north from the summit there is glacier Äußeres Lahner Kees - Vedretta di Lana, 0.8 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Windtalkees. The peak is located south of the valley Krimmler Achental.
