Piz Costainas - Furkelspitz is 3004 meter high peak in the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Switzerland. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Garibaldi - Dreisprachenspitze, located 4km south-southwest. A little further is bivouac Tschierfeck Biwak am Ortler. 6 km south from the summit there is glacier Ebenferner - Vedreta Piana, 7 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Trafoier Ferner - Vedretta di Trafoi. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Trafoital.
