The peak is located in country Slovenia 4 km northwest from the center of Krnica and 4 km northwest from the center of Grabče and 0.5 km east-northeast of peak Police and southwest above the mountain pasture Planina Strmole. The nearest mountain hut is Kovinarska koča, located 7km west. A bit closer is bivouac Bivak Stebrasta skala, which is located 4km to the northeast. The peak is located east of the valley Stresena dolina. The peak is located Mežakla.
