Description:
Rotnieder is 2365 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Steinberge. The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Berg and 5 km north-northwest from the center of Sonnberg and 0.8 km south of peak Kleines Rothorn. The nearest mountain hut is Passauer Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Jenningerhorn Hütte. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Pillerseetal.
