Description:
Saling is 1102 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.2 km north-northeast from the center of Bruckdorf and 0.9 km northwest from the center of Althofen. The nearest mountain hut is Wildbachhütte, located 7km northeast. Closer is Granitzlhütte, which is located 6km to the north-northwest. Southwest of the summit is the valley Katschtal.
