The peak is located 4 km south-southeast from the center of Schwarzach im Pongau and 5 km south from the center of Sankt Veit im Pongau and 0.3 km north-northwest of peak Höllwand. The nearest mountain hut is Viehhausalm, located 1.7km east-southeast. A little closer is Obere Tennalm, which is located 1.5km to the east-northeast.
