Sandspitze is 2450 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 0.6 km west of peak Zwerfenberg. The nearest mountain hut is Landawirseehütte, located 1.4km southwest. bivouac Neualm is also relatively close. The peak is located southeast of the valley Obertal.
