Säulkopf is 3209 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km southeast of peak Niederer Eichham. The nearest mountain hut is Bonn-Matreier-Hütte, located 1.3km south-southeast. And bivouac Merschenhütte is also close by. 0.5 km north from the summit there is glacier Säulfrosnitzkees, 0.8 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Nilkees.
