Kälberscharte

Description:
Kälberscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2778 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.7 km south-southeast of peak Rauhkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Bonn-Matreier-Hütte, located 0.5km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Merschenhütte. 1.6 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Säulfrosnitzkees, 2 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Hexenkees. The saddle is located above the valley Großes Niltal.
