Description:
In the early Middle Ages, the Iseltal belonged to the County of Lurn. Later, around 1100, the Counts of Lechsgemünd were able to establish themselves here. In 1252, a "castrum Virge" is first mentioned, which belonged to the Counts of Tyrol. It was probably built around 1200.
