Schafsitz is 2164 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest from the center of Krakauebene and 4 km north-northeast from the center of Moos. The nearest mountain hut is Ebenhandlhütte, located 3km west. A bit closer is Trafleralm, which is located 2km to the east-northeast. The peak is located east of the valley Rantengraben.
