Description:
Schafturm - Torre Pecorara is 2660 meter high peak in the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 5 km north-northwest from the center of Sankt Gertraud - Santa Gertrude and 6 km southeast from the center of Thal and 1.4 km east of peak Tuferspitz. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 6km southwest. A little further is bivouac Töbrunn. 2 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia, 5 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Ultental - Val d'Ultimo.
