Schwanglwand

Description:
Schwanglwand is 2800 meter high peak in the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 5 km north-northwest from the center of Sankt Gertraud - Santa Gertrude and 6 km west-northwest from the center of St. Nikolaus - San Nicolò. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 7km southwest. Closer is bivouac Töbrunn, which is located 6km to the north. 1.8 km north from the summit there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia, 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi. Southeast of the summit is the valley Ultental - Val d'Ultimo.
