Description:
Schönhaltereck is 1860 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register in the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast from the center of Krampen and 5 km north from the center of Neuberg an der Mürz. The nearest mountain hut is Michlbauerhütte, located 2km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Notfallhütte. The peak is located above the valley Innerer Krampengraben. The peak is located above the valley Innerer Krampengraben.
