Description:
Schützkogel is 2069 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Kitzbühel Alps. The peak is located 1.0 km northwest of peak Gamshag and east-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Schützalm. The nearest mountain hut is Wildalm, located 1.5km south-southwest. And Manlitzkarhütte is also close by. The peak is located east of the valley Leukental.
