Schwarzkogel

Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1800 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 0.8 km northwest of peak Niederer Sarstein and northeast above the mountain pasture Sarsteinalm. The nearest mountain hut is Sarsteinalm Bad Goisern, located 0.5km southwest. Höherstüberl is also relatively close. 7 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Koppental.
