Sommersbergkogel

Description:
Sommersbergkogel is 1077 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km southwest from the center of Altaussee and 4 km west-northwest from the center of Bad Aussee. The nearest mountain hut is Sarsteinalm Bad Goisern, located 3km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Lupitsch Bachmühle, which is located 0.8km to the northeast. 0.6 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Sommersbergsee. The peak is located north of the valley Koppental.
