Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1627 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 3 km west-southwest from the center of Wallersbach and 3 km north from the center of Lind bei Scheifling. The nearest mountain hut is Klosterneuburgerhütte, located 9km north. A bit closer is bivouac Lind bei Scheifling Bundesstraße, which is located 3km to the south. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Görtschitztal.
