Schwarzwand is 2204 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km northwest from the center of Bad Hofgastein and 6 km east from the center of Wörth. The nearest mountain hut is Biberalm, located 1.0km east-southeast. Unterkompberg-Hochalm is a bit further away. The peak is located northeast of the valley Großfleißtal.
