Schwarzwandkopf is 2683 meter high peak and is part of the Kreuzeck Group. The peak is located in country Austria 7 km north-northwest from the center of Weinberg and 8 km north-northeast from the center of Irschen and 0.3 km northwest of peak Hochkreuz. The nearest mountain hut is Orterhütte, located 3km south. A bit closer is Jhtt. Kirschenhütte, which is located 2km to the east-northeast. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Draßnitztal.
