The peak is located in country Austria 4 km northwest from the center of Weidenaurotte and 4 km southwest from the center of Anthofrotte. The nearest mountain hut is Teichhütte, located 1.6km east. And Jagdhaus is also close by. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Steinparztal.
