Description:
Sonnwendköpfl is 1278 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register in the Chiemgau Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Scheibenwaldhütte, located 6km south. A little further is Hager Fischerhütte. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Leukental.
