Description:
Spitzeggkopf is 2721 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 9 km southwest from the center of Ginzling and 10 km south-southeast from the center of Hintertux. The nearest mountain hut is Olpererhütte, located 4km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Rötkees, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Riepenkees.
