Stammerberg is 726 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 1.2 km east-northeast from the center of Drasendorf and 1.7 km southwest from the center of Passering. The nearest mountain hut is Druckerhütte, located 13km east-northeast. A little further is Granihütte. 2 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Längsee. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Görtschitztal.
