Statzberg is 948 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 4 km south-southeast from the center of Sankt Georgen an der Leys and 6 km west-northwest from the center of Frankenfels. The nearest mountain hut is Grüntalkogelhütte, located 6km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Infostand Gemeinde Texing. The peak is located north of the valley Klausgraben.
