Description:
Steinhofer Kogel is 1114 meter high peak in the Mürzsteg Alps. The peak is located 3 km northwest from the center of Kernhof and 4 km west-southwest from the center of St. Aegyd am Neuwalde and 3 km southeast of peak Enzian. The nearest mountain hut is Zdarsky Hütte, located 5km northeast. A bit closer is Hoida-Hittn, which is located 4km to the northeast. South of the summit is the valley Saugraben.
