Tamlspitz is 2608 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Tux Alps. The peak is located 5 km west-northwest from the center of Tux and 5 km north-northwest from the center of Juns. The nearest mountain hut is Berggasthaus Eggalm, located 3km southeast. Markis-Alpe is a bit further away. Southeast of the summit is the valley Tuxertal.
