Tauern

Description:
Tauern is 1841 meter high peak in the Ammergau Alps. The peak is located 4 km northwest of peak Kohlbergspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Dürrenbergalm, located 5km north. A bit closer is Tauernhütte, which is located 1.6km to the northwest. 1.8 km southeast of the peak there is lake Heiterwanger See. The peak is located north of the valley Zwischentoren.
