Tschigat - Gigot is 2999 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 0.9 km east-southeast of peak Lazinser Rötelspitze - Cima Rosa di Sopranes. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Hochgang - Rifugio Casa del Valico, located 2km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Dr.-Eugen-Guido-Lammer-Biwak, which is located 1.0km to the northeast. 2 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 9 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
