Weißenbach Kogel is 1580 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 3 km southeast from the center of Grundlsee and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Äußere Kainisch. The nearest mountain hut is Steinitzenalm, located 7km south. Closer is Fischkalter, which is located 3km to the west-northwest. 7 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Altausseer See. The peak is located east of the valley Koppental.
