Weißkopfkogel is 1970 meter high peak and is part of the Kitzbühel Alps. The peak is located 5 km east from the center of Oberaurach and 5 km east from the center of Aurach bei Kitzbühel and 1.9 km north of peak Sonnspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Kelchalm Bochumer Hütte, located 4km southwest. A little further is bivouac Birg Schafalpe. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Hinterglemmtal.
