Winklerberg is 935 meter high peak in the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 1.7 km south from the center of Obertraun and 3 km southeast from the center of Hallstatt. The nearest mountain hut is Hanzinger Hütte, located 0.7km southeast. And bivouac Winkl Traunbrücke is also close by. The peak is located southwest of the valley Koppental.
