Description:
Schwemmerkogel is 1837 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located in country Austria 1.9 km north-northeast of peak Niederer Rumpler. The nearest mountain hut is Gjaidalm, located 0.7km south-southwest. And bivouac Unterstand (offen) is also close by. 7 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher, 7 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Großer Gosaugletscher. Northeast of the summit is the valley Koppental.
