Description:
Niederer Krippenstein is 1989 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 1.8 km west of peak Margschierf. The nearest mountain hut is Lodge, located 0.9km northeast. bivouac Unterstandshütte 1 is also relatively close. 6 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Koppental.
