Description:
Däumelkogel is 2001 meter high peak and is part of the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 1.0 km north-northeast of peak Margschierf. The nearest mountain hut is Lodge, located 1.3km west. Even closer is bivouac Unterstandshütte 1, which is located 0.5km to the south. 8 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Schladminger Gletscher. North of the summit is the valley Koppental.
