Wurzköpfe is 1767 meter high peak in the mountain group Steinberge. The peak is located 4 km southeast from the center of Waidring and 5 km north-northeast from the center of St. Ulrich am Pillersee. The nearest mountain hut is Schmidt-Zabierow Hütte, located 4km east-southeast. A bit closer is Kitzgrabenhütte, which is located 1.1km to the west-northwest. 4 km southwest of the peak there is lake Pillersee. The peak is located southeast of the valley Pillerseetal.
