Zigeunerkogel is 1332 meter high peak and is part of the Lavanttal Alps. The peak is located 6 km west-southwest from the center of Oberfresen and 8 km west-southwest from the center of Garanas. The nearest mountain hut is Dreieckhütte, located 1.8km south. Loinighütte is also relatively close.
