Eastern, Captain's Ridge on Brana, interesting tour within II. degree (on the ridge also III. possible) today provided wonderful and in places breathtaking views. Especially at places where I wasn't quite sure about the continuous continuation of the ridge.
You leave the path to Kamniško sedlo at Studenec and head towards Bosova grapa, in which you climb the first two jumps, further you keep to the ridgelet left above it. You can get here also via the right entry of Bosova (cairn). The ridgelet/gully then via shorter rocky jumps leads you to the grassy saddle, where you turn right and through introductory scrub climb to the ridge, you climb from tower to tower, only the last one you bypass left through quite friable terrain. Descent from it is a bit awkward, further awaits easier but very crumbly terrain, which then over summit grassy plateaus brings you to the top.
You descend via the normal route to Kamniško sedlo.
Rock on the ridge is mostly OK, in places the tour is quite exposed, also "hairy". Experienced eye will find also some small path.
Nice tour, suitable for experienced mountaineers.

I mean of course what's in quotes, because self-praisers up here obviously don't know the difference between descent via Gola NE (NE debris) and the variant over Trbiška škrbina.

@Primozz_94...you're probably thinking of the Čez Jačke trail, which goes under Rdeča skala at the start.
We tackled it with bikes. Two years ago. It was in ok condition then. The only problem is the large amount of "greenery" in the middle part, where the only visible orientation marker is the red-white stake.
In the photo Rdeča skala is nicely visible in the background. From the cyclist onwards there are still a couple of well-visible turns, then the path disappears into the mentioned greenery. From the stake onwards it's fully traceable again. Hope I helped a bit.

Unlike you, as always I announce with full name.
I fully understand opinions for and against mountain bikers, who primarily don't want to bring disputes between hikers and bikers, as most of us are just ordinary hill people. Our wish is actually very simple, to enjoy this beautiful mountain environment... with bike of course. That sparrows are chirping how it is with legislation in this area is clear.

@Parkeljc, with quoted "Mountain biking is booming, lately electric bikes. What drive will they have in a few years? State does nothing! I believe there is a "remedy" for such activity in mountains and not only cyclists are guilty but mainly the state."
you probably partly show sympathy to us, who are in your view product of human stupidity (if I can joke a bit, there was such a "product" on Saturday when you caught bikers probably from Vajnež gray-blue haired, second black haired, third red pants ). On the other hand you accuse us of recklessness and negligence regarding use of hiking trails. Sadly we never met on terrain where you could see with your own eyes your mistake. Real mountain biker follows mountain biking ethics. If in high mountains even more so.
Truth is also that disputes will probably be eternal, because: who is without sin cast the first stone!
