More apt here would be a discussion on whether such a violent intervention in nature, like building a ferrata over the most impassable part, was really appropriate. Especially given the old path was even after the landslide fully OK and normally passable. Obviously most don't know the landslide took a total of 5, at most 10 m of the path where it crosses the scree, on a relatively little exposed part, and soon after the landslide the path over that scree part was newly trodden. If markacists had tackled it with pickaxe and shovel, they'd fix it perfectly with 100x smaller investment than the ferrata construction. So much for recession and nature protection.

Swiss, it'll hold, yesterday's descent from Kredarica one of the better ones (morning 9am) nasmeh but have to take into account carrying skis down half hour to car

uf, that was really long... how long did you need for the whole loop?

Yeah then really very brave... or: heart of hero, head of fool (especially the other one)

BT88 - don't get mad. Obviously an expert - because he knew the unmarked path. I doubt he went there the first time too. With a mountain guide it'd be basically safe, because as you correctly say, he'd protect the client. Otherwise I see that your communication style and knowledge of the issue are very similar to Ljubitelj gora, so suitable for such discussions.

Well, you see, it works... really good description... if all your comments were like this, there'd be no problems here.
But your companion - obvious expert who took a beginner on this unprotected crossing, he was really brave... no wonder he wants to stay anonymous.
Hope at least he's a mountain guide.

Ljubitelj Gora, you write so much, why can't you answer the above simple questions? And maybe describe in more detail some demanding detail of the traverse from Vevnica to Ponce?
Pika (and any other experts) thanks, but I want to learn precisely from him.

Ljubitelj gora, congrats for completing the extremely demanding and dangerous path, tell us more about this path, especially the section from Vevnica to Ponce: were there any orientation problems, was rope belaying needed anywhere, how is it with friability, which section is the hardest?
and timing, how long did you need for Via della Vita, and how much further for the mentioned section?
thanks for info.
